Hold onto you butts because it seems reality is tying it’s hand at a soft reboot of Stephen King’s The Stand. The New York Times is reporting that Timothy J Cunningham, a high ranking employee at the CDC, has gone missing after complaining of an illness. I hope he’s alright but, damn, that’s more than a little alarming news. If you’re not familiar a similar scenario plays out as the backstory of how the virus in The Stand is able to escape quarantine.
